HOW TO MAKE A MAP

Mapping Step by Step Instructions:

  1. Go to https://ohredistrict.org/get-involved

  2. Click on “Draw Community Maps”

  3. Choose Statewide, regional, or city map

  4. Name your map: CAIR-Ohio-communityname-yourname ——Ex: CAIR-Ohio-Oakley-Whitney——

  5. “Paint” your community

  6. Add description

  7. Add important places

  8. Click save

  9. Submit your finished map at https://portal.ohio-mapping.org/

  10. Use same map name for Submission Title

  11. Choose ”Community” under Submission Title (not written testimony)

  12. Paste the URL of your map

  13. Copy your description from your map and paste under ”Tell us about your community of interest”

  14. Add tags: cairohio, open-maps, your city, your county, your neighborhood, your region (central ohio, southwest ohio, etc.)

  15. In your contact info – be sure to include your phone number

  16. Check boxes and submit!
