CAIR-Columbus Speaks at Indivisible Townhall Meeting

On Sunday, April 23, CAIR-Columbus Legal Director Romin Iqbal spoke at a town hall meeting jointly organized by the Indivisible Group Districts 3, 12, and 15 at the First Unitarian Universalist Church in Columbus.

The town hall was titled “Town Hall on the State of American Democracy: Which Way Forward?”
Mr. Iqbal spoke about ways in which people can help Muslims and other minorities who are victims of discrimination, and issues relating to ICE crackdown on undocumented immigrants. Other panelists included OSU Law Professor Ruth Colker, OSU Professor Daniel Skinner and Retired Major General Dennis Laiech.

Roughly 500 people were in attendance.
