Eviction resources and rental assistance
On Monday March 29, the CDC extended the eviction federal moratorium on non-payment of rent until June 30.
The federal ban on eviction protects current renters who are struggling to pay their rent from getting kicked out. However, once the ban is lifted tenants will be expected to pay back the rent amounts to their landlord.
If you’re struggling to meet rent or facing eviction due to COVID, you can apply for rental assistance and access eviction resources below. Further resources can be found here. You can also call CAIR-Ohio’s Legal Team or reach out here.
